We write web and mobile software from an office in Bradford, then we stay on after launch. The version you go live with is never the version you keep, and somebody has to be there when that becomes obvious.

Four things worth knowing first
01

You talk to whoever writes it

No account manager sits between you and the work. The developers on your project are the people in the meeting, and they are the people who answer the phone.

02

The price is fixed before we start

We scope in a paid two-week block and quote from that. If the estimate turns out wrong, absorbing it is our problem.

03

We don't build and disappear

Every project leaves here with documentation, a runbook and three months of us on call.

04

Our day rate is on the page

£620 a day. You were going to ask, and a quote you can't check isn't worth much.

How a warehouse job in 2021 changed the way we work

Incosoft Ltd started in 2019 taking whatever came through the door. A booking system for a hire company. A stock tool for a supplier in Leeds. Small work, done properly, mostly by two people.

Then in 2021 we inherited a warehouse platform from an agency that had stopped replying to emails. Around eleven thousand lines of code, no tests, nothing written down, and a client who hadn't taken a proper holiday in two years because he was the only person alive who knew how to restart the thing at 6am.

It took four months longer than it should have. It also settled an argument we'd been having internally. Nothing leaves this office now without documentation a stranger could follow, and we stay reachable for three months after every launch — not as a support package, as part of the build.

There are four of us. We don't take projects under £4,000, and we don't do WordPress theme work. Plenty of people in West Yorkshire do that well and charge a fraction of what we would.

How a project actually runs

Four stages, and you can walk away after the first one

Stage 01 — Scope

Two weeks, paid, fixed

You get a technical specification, a build plan and a price. Take it to another studio if you want — it's written for you, not for us.

Stage 02 — Build

A demo every fortnight

On a real staging URL you can click, not a slide deck of screenshots. If something is drifting, you'll see it in week two rather than month five.

Stage 03 — Handover

Written down, then recorded

Documentation, a runbook for the awkward 6am moments, and the walkthrough session recorded so whoever joins your team next can watch it.

Stage 04 — After

Three months on call

Included. A retainer after that if it suits you, and genuinely no hard feelings if it doesn't.

Throughout

One thread, one number

Everything lands in a single shared channel. The phone number below reaches a developer during working hours.

If it goes wrong

We say so early

Bad news travels fast here on purpose. A slipped estimate you hear about in week three is a scheduling problem; the same news in month four is a different conversation.

What we build

Software that has to keep running on a Monday morning

Every figure on this page is worked out from it. Ask us to show the arithmetic on any quote and we will.

Fixed price after scoping Quotes hold for 30 days

We build it

Web applications and mobile apps: internal tools, customer portals, booking and stock systems. The software a business runs on rather than the software it markets with.

We connect it

Accounting, CRM, warehouse and payment systems that were never meant to meet, made to agree on something. Usually the cheapest job on this page and the one that saves the most time.

We rescue it

Someone else built it, then went quiet. We read the code, write down how it actually works, and decide with you whether it is worth saving. Sometimes the honest answer is no.

Prices are a guide and are confirmed after the scoping block. Fixed-price work is quoted from a written specification; everything else runs at the day rate. All figures exclude VAT.

Where this normally starts

Tell us what's broken.

Most conversations here open with a system that half-works and a person who has run out of patience with it. Twenty minutes on the phone is usually enough to tell you whether we're the right people, and we'll say if we aren't.

Book a consultation

Twenty minutes, no charge, no slide deck

We reply to everything within one working day. If we're not right for the job we'll tell you that in the first call rather than the third.
